Since childhood, I had always had a penchant for baked goods, especially cute tiny cakes and cookies.

Over the years, this evolved from learning generations of baking tips, tricks and recipes from my Mom and Oma to perfecting my own flair for cute, sweet treats.

During the pandemic, I found great joy in dropping boxes of cupcakes and cookies to friends and family when we had to keep our distance.

I was also diagnosed with Type-1 Diabetes as a result of complications from Covid-19. I decided to take the leap and focus on sharing my love of baking with everyone who took an interest, since I had to seriously rein in how much “testing” I could do myself.

Today, Sweet Rose represents that dream and a new approach to positivity, joy and focusing on the silver linings.
